Today I visited the winery where it all started for me: Bargetto Winery in Soquel, California. I owe a lot to Marty Bargetto who took me under his wing and hired me back in 2004. Since then, I have worn many hats: wine club assistant, wine club and direct marketing manager, compliance, vintage cellar hand, seasonal viticulturist and now direct sales manager.The crazy thing is, that I am still having a blast. It is not a career for me, it is a lifestyle. I will post some more pics of my California trip very soon. Off to bed and back to the office tomorrow.
