I have worked in the wine industry for ten years. My experiences at wineries and vineyards in California, Wisconsin, Iowa, Oregon, New Zealand and Australia range from management and marketing to viticulture and enology. Previously, I served as a senior manager at Willamette Valley Vineyards in Turner, Oregon where I was responsible for direct to consumer sales of over $2.5 million. I have a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration with Marketing from Viterbo University along with a Certificate of Specialization in Enology from Des Moines Area Community College. My family owns and operates R Little Vineyard in Stoddard, WI.

  • Competition included more than 325 wines from commercial wineries in 12 states and Canada. Awards were based on blind tastings by 21 expert judges, who include wine writers, restaurateurs, retailers and wine educators. Three-judge panels determined the initial awards, with the top-scoring Best of Show wines evaluated by seven-judge panels and all 21 judges for the Minnesota Governor's Cup award.
